Mollie & Mikki 1st Birthday

Morning  from a very wet and windy Durham, have had a busy weekend making Nappy cakes for the craft fair next month, I have never made them before so would love to know what you thing of them,I really enjoyed making them. 

Also went to the local craft fair and brought some new dies from Britannia crafts so watch this space.

Pop Up Christmas Card Tutorial

Afternoon hope you are having a good weekend, I have been busy making nappy cake will get them on the blog later this week,It was my turn to do the Tutorial for the
crafty bloggers network.

I have seen this shape card on a few blogs lately so here is my take on it.

12x12 card stock mine is  from The Christmas glitter stack from DCWV

Clear stamps from Papermainia

Glitter, Gems & Card candy

Cut your 12x12 card down to 6x12,

then score at 1.5",3",4.5",7.5",9",and 10.5"

When folded it should look like this.

With the other piece of 12x6 card stock cut a rectangle 5x7"

I used a large spellbinders die but can bee done by hand.

Then tape you 5x7" rectangle and stick it to the bottom of the12x6".

Now add the ribbon this goes between the 1st & 2nd fold.

Then stick the 2 ends together.

It should now stand up like this,

you can now add your image and embellishments, your card will fold flat for posting.

Flower for Christine

I was asked to make a card for a lady who love's to potter about in her garden,this is what I came up with hope she likes it.

I have made the flowers with my new Cheery Lynn die  they are a bit fiderly  to make but i think they look ok, The image is a digi stamp from cornish heritage farms the message is made from a LOTV stamp I printed out the name and then stamp over it I am please with the way it has come out.
