White Christmas

The sun has come out at last here in the North East of England.So I made a Christmas card.

The base is made up from a nestie folded in half the top and the flowers are made from 2 Marianne dies the sentiment is from a papermania Christmas sentiment set which I stamp with verafine red ink.I added a feather and some white ribbon and a few gem to Finish.

Hi Everyone sorry I have not been around much lately, But my daughter Kelly is home from Hong Kong for 3 weeks it is so nice having at home even if it is for just 3 weeks,As a surprise for my birthday from Kevin he arrange 3 days in Paris for Kelly and myself, got back Sunday afternoon just in time for the tennis, anyway we had a great time the weather was not so good but we did all the tourist thing and drank a little wine. So this is the first card I have made in a week.

Hi from a wet and cold Durham, Have been Daniels PA all week helping him on his work placement at .beamish. we have had great fun baking on a open range stove for the visitors in the old farm house.

Today card is a baby pocket card.

I have used a pale blue card to make the base card the image is a fizzy moon stamp the sentiments are from a hero arts set and pink gem.the spotty papers is from a tatty ted paper pack spring chic .

i have stamped the image twice and coloured it with promarker them mounter the image on a circle cut from a nestie I coloured the ribbon to match the card add a button,small bear charm and some gem to finish.

I find teenage boy card hard as I can never find images for this age group, but I did find this one by Kenny K which I liked Not sure if this card work to well let me know what you all think.

Daniel Miller with the Olympic Torch

I thought you might like to see this short video of   my friends  17 year son Daniel  carrying the Olympic torch in Durham at the weekend. He is a remarkable young  lad, he always has a smile what ever life throws at him.Daniel suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy but still finds time for helping other with is wiz kids fundraising.

Its cold here today the heat kick this morning so its a Christmas card today.
